Pro tip: Sometimes if baby gets up too early, I bring him into the big bed, sit him up and just open this book to the front page (which has circular patterns filled with different animal footprints)...and baby studies this page for a LOOOONG time while I get some more sleep. Thank you for the extra ZZZs, Lindsay Craig and Marc Brown!I read this book to baby at least twice a day (he's now 7mo), and he's still super interested every time. The rhythmic poetry is really catchy, and the artwork is great too! I just ordered the companion book, Barnyard Beat -- and I hope it'll be a hit with baby too.
We absolutely love this book. I buy it for all of my friends' kids. It is fun, great to read, rhyming, and interactive. I tickle my daughters for "creepity," we stop our feet, and wiggle our fingers for "clickety." I can't recommend it enough.

The book is awesome. The kindle version is _terrible_. The pictures are so small you can't actually see the wonderful illustrations. I'm convinced no human actually had anything to do with converting it to kindle. Sigh.
Bought this for my kindergarten music class to accompany a lesson on walking to a steady beat. The kids love the bright pictures and can't wait to guess which animal comes next in the story.
My two year old just loves this book. I bought it because he kept coming home from daycare talking about it. He'd memorized it before he got his own copy, but he still loves reading it. Very cute and an easy quick read.
My daughter loves to read this book along with Farmyard Beat at bedtime! Such cute books! We love the rhythm of them
