The condition of the book was as expected. The content is kind of dated because of the version of AutoCAD that it was written to address. However the textbook is well written and very thorough. It is a good textbook for people of all levels.

AutoLisp is a very technically oriented programming language. Without some prior programming experience, this book would be very difficult to follow. For those of us who just wanted to brush up on already learned skills, it's a godsend. But newbies would do well to look elsewhere if they're just starting out.

This is hands down the best book on autolisp that I have found. I have read over ten different ones. Teaches about every command and just all around a great book. after having it checked out from the library for 2+ months I figured I should buy it. Great for beginners and as a reference. It has saved me countless hours in my drawings.

This was a good book to reference Autolisp commands with over the years.It is based on older versions but still applies for many uses.It has dcl commands in it as well, which can sometimes be useful!

I highly suggest watching his video series, "Lisp Your Mesh Into Shape," before trying the books. I had to go over the basic input concepts (what buttons to click) several times, before I was able get the code to start showing up as a graphic object. The videos really helped. It is important to download the online materials, and use them. All the codes are there, so the reader can go through the processes on the video, and in the books, step by step. Lisp was originally developed in 1958, check it out.

I'm programming Lisp in AutoCAD since 1988. That was the time that animals used to speak to each other. I know the evolution of AutoCAD and Lisp, the time we were excited that a “personal” computer could generate lines and circles. The very nice thing about all the Lisp-books of Mr Togores is that they give the overview of this history. It is absolutely necessary to understand the evolution in this language and to understand the evolution of AutoCAD itself, to start programming in Lisp. Some ways to program are much easier the old school, while others the new wave. This is well explained with a good reason "why"...I appreciate that there is no nonsense in these learning books. Each sentence is well thought of. Even for experienced programmers these books are useful, especially this part (Programming 3D). But also for beginning programmers in Lisp, these books – start with the first and second book – are very highly recommended.Amandus VanQuaille, architect

Activities include making a journal, building a diorama, “hunting” with a camera, and even making a dessert based on Roosevelt's insult that McKinley had “no more backbone than a chocolate éclair.” The projects are interesting and accessible, with cautions to keep an adult nearby when necessary. Numerous black-and-white photos, insets, political cartoons, and illustrations break the text into manageable and interesting bits. A note to Roosevelt's football-player son admonishing him to not sacrifice his studies for the game sounds like any parent. But the president was able to take his concerns further when he invited representatives from Harvard, Yale, and Princeton to the White House to create a new set of rules resulting in the game as we know it today. Theodore Roosevelt for Kids is a well-researched biography of the 26th president of the United States. The book begins with a time line of the president's life. The subsequent chapters tell the story of his life from his asthma-inflicted boyhood to his death at the age of sixty-one.Author, Kerrie Logan Hollihan, did an excellent job not only in researching the life of Theodore Roosevelt, but also in making the book an interesting read. It is definitely not a boring history book. There are plenty of photographs of the president, as well as pictures from that period in history. A fun feature for kids, is the 21 activities that are included. These are easy-to-do, and definitely related to the life and times of Theodore Roosevelt. Some of my personal favorites are making a "pigskin notebook," making a delicious dessert called "Old Insult," and making a campaigne button.Theodore Roosevelt for Kids is an excellent resource for kids and teachers who are doing research on the president. It is also an excellent book for anyone wishing to learn more about Theodore Roosevelt. I highly recommend this book for readers age nine through adult.

With a crazy kid around (ADHD, high energy, rebellious), adults can be at a loss. As a lover of presidents, I immediately equated this child with Teddy Roosevelt- "Get Action!". For a positive impactful way to spend time with your energetic and curious child, look no further than this hilarious, interesting, historically rich book of Teddy Roosevelt activities! We love the facial recognition experiement, the taxidermy/birding information, and the theme that you don't have to conform to be great... indeed, you have to be yourself.

The book was wonderful for teaching about Theodore Roosevelt. Unfortunately I was unable to get many of the pages to appear correctly on either my Kindle Fire or my PC with the viewer. The timeline shots did not fit properly and other images also were extremely clumsy to view.
